\n Artists on the national jazz scene will perform and give jazz mini-workshops at the Pierce College Jazz Expo.
\n\n Artists scheduled to perform include: Thomas Marriot Sextet (Tribute to Art Blakey)\, Greta Matassa quartet\, McTuff\, Pierce College Jazz Ensemble and Pete Christlieb Quartet.
\n\n Musicians of all abilities and ages\, as well as non-musicians\, may attend the workshops. Musicians are welcome to bring their instruments to the clinic because some clinicians may ask students to participate.
\n\n Clinics will go on simultaneously with performances\, so plan accordingly.

Kandi\, a saxophonist and composer\, also leads The Kareem Kandi Band\, which plays throughout the Pacific Northwest.
