International trade will fall this year for the first time since World War II. Anthony became Executive Director of the World Trade Center Tacoma in March 2009.  He has worked or studied in Europe\, Asia\, Latin America and the Middle East.  He helped found the first private university in the former communist countries of Central Europe and taught politics & government courses there.  He later built one of the largest public affairs businesses in Central Europe and ran that for a decade.  Prior to his time in Europe Anthony worked for several US Senators in Washington\, D.C\, including covering trade and international affairs issues for Senator Daniel J. Evans.  Anthony returned to Washington state in 2003 and served as City Manager in Maple Valley prior to joining the World Trade Center.
